Job description
At TWINT, we believe that innovation should make our lives and coexistence better. That it should help us focus on the things that really matter: The experiences that move us. The people who are close to us. All the things that move us forward together. That's why we're making our everyday lives easier all the time - because payment and everything around it can be integrated smoothly into our lives and we no longer have to worry about it. So that each of us can make more of the moment. On a small scale as well as on a large scale. For ourselves, for others and for the whole of Switzerland.
Do you like to dream big and work passionately on crazy ideas? TWINT has long been much more than "just" the most popular payment app in Switzerland. If you also want to be part of our success story, then we are looking for exactly you as a Senior Manager Business Planning & Forecasting 80-100%.
The Senior Manager Business Planning & Forecasting will be pivotal in driving our strategic initiatives in mobile payment, reporting directly to the Head of Business Insights and Analytics and a dotted line to the Executive Board. The position is a great opportunity for a highly analytical individual with a deep understanding of the payments, retail/commerce, or banking sectors, and a strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Your impact at TWINT:
- Annual Planning and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual planning process, including forecasting the number of users, transaction volumes, and payment volumes across various industry verticals, customer segments, payment types, and use cases
- Develop and maintain detailed models to support business planning and decision-making processes
- Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Establish and maintain a robust tracking system to monitor business performance against KPI targets on daily and monthly levels
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to the Executive Board and senior management
- Ad Hoc Analysis and Business Insights:
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and deep dives to understand business dynamics, including competition, economic conditions in the Swiss market, acceptance network changes, and user penetration saturation effects
- Provide strategic recommendations based on insights gained from data analysis
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment on business objectives and strategies
- Communicate complex analytical findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders
- Market and Industry Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform forecasting and business planning
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and potential risks
