Together, we guide the development and continuous improvement of a high-performance, scalable, and secure payment system. To ensure the satisfaction of our ever-growing user base, we've recently reorganized into Value Streams and are expanding our development teams.  Therefore, we are searching for Senior Software Engineers with Java EE experience, based in Zurich or Bern with the flexibility of Home Office.

Your impact at TWINT:

• Take technical responsibility from conception to implementation and operations, ensuring high-quality outcomes
• Enable your teammates during sprints and facilitate continuous improvement within the team
• Perform code reviews to maintain and improve code quality
• Support in analysing complex problems, managing incidents in cooperation with our partners, and in developing sustainable solutions
• Work on the continuous enhancement of our platform

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable field
• Extensive practical and project experience in software engineering within a business and technically complex environment
• Proficient in Java and Jakarta EE (preferably on Wildfly), with knowledge of SQL/PL SQL, Git, Gradle, Jenkins, and Spring Boot
• Ideally experience with microservices architecture
• Understanding of agile development methodologies and DevSecOps
• Experience with application performance monitoring, log analysis, and performance optimizations
• Standby for special assignments and on-call duties
• Independent, reliable, and collaborative team player
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
