Job description
At TWINT, we believe that innovation should make our lives and coexistence better. It should help us focus on the things that really matter: the experiences that move us, the people who are close to us, and all the things that move us forward together. That's why we're constantly making our everyday lives easier—because payment and everything around it can be smoothly integrated into our lives, and we no longer have to worry about it. This allows each of us to make more of the moment, on both a small and large scale, for ourselves, for others, and for the whole of Switzerland.
As a Junior IAM Specialist, you will manage standard identity security and access lifecycles using Microsoft Entra ID and SailPoint ISC. You will also serve as the critical first point of contact for L1 Workplace Support, resolving fundamental end-user queries on-site and seamlessly escalating complex hardware or infrastructure issues to our dedicated provider.
Your Responsibilities
Handle L1/L2 IAM incidents, routine access requests, and identity lifecycles primarily via Entra ID and SailPoint ISC
Support passwordless authentication rollouts (e.g., passkeys) and user transitions from legacy MFA
Manage user attributes, group memberships, and basic role assignments
Troubleshoot everyday Single Sign-On (SSO) login failures and general access issues
Provide proactive, L1 on-site IT support (Zurich and regularly in Bern)
Triage Microsoft 365, Windows 11, and macOS issues, escalating advanced incidents to our external provider
Handle basic device lifecycles (local preparation, onboarding/offboarding handovers, and inventory)
Provide hands-and-eyes support for conference rooms, local network patching, and peripherals
What You Bring
Completed IT apprenticeship, degree in computer science, or equivalent practical IT support experience
First Experiences in IAM Support, IT Helpdesk, or Workplace Support
Understanding of fundamental IAM concepts (e.g., SSO, modern/passwordless authentication)
Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID and SailPoint ISC
Baseline knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 11, macOS, and basic Intune endpoint management
Strong analytical skills for initial root-cause analysis and determining when to escalate
Diligence in maintaining technical documentation, procedures, and accurate escalation logs
A continuous improvement mindset focused on process optimization
Highly adaptable and structured approach to balancing routine IAM queues with physical L1 requests
Independent, proactive, and reliable execution in a fast-paced environment and patient, service-oriented mindset focused on end-user guidance
Excellent collaboration skills to align internal IAM teams and external workplace providers
Advantageous: Jira experience, basic networking (LAN/Wi-Fi), and conference room tech
Fluent communication skills in both German and English
What awaits you:
Career and development: Shape your professional future through exciting tasks and challenges, as well as comprehensive further education opportunities in an innovative technology company.
Work-life balance: Enjoy 6 weeks of vacation time and benefit from flexible working hours with the option to work from home.
Balancing work and family: Benefit from additional perks such as increased family allowances and more parental leave.
Team spirit and positive work atmosphere: Experience a collegial and healthy work culture, accompanied by regular events that strengthen collaboration.
Fair and competitive compensation: At TWINT, we focus on a fair wage culture & fair pay. We also offer attractive additional benefits.
Central locations: Our offices are located in the heart of Zurich and Bern and are easily accessible by public transport.
